Overview

Exterior cleaning for restaurants

Restaurants produce more exterior contamination per square foot than any other commercial property. Grease migrates from the kitchen exhaust and the dumpster area, patios collect food and drink residue, and entry concrete takes constant traffic.

This is exterior cleaning work — the surfaces customers see and the service areas that generate odor and complaints. It is not kitchen or janitorial service.

Who we work with

  • Restaurant owners and operators
  • Franchise groups
  • Multi-unit facility managers
  • Landlords of restaurant pad sites
  • Regional operations managers

Surfaces

What we clean on this property type

A full-property scope normally touches most of these. Partial scopes are quoted the same way.

  • Entry sidewalks and thresholds
  • Patios and outdoor dining areas
  • Dumpster pads and enclosures
  • Grease accumulation zones
  • Rear service areas and doors
  • Loading and delivery areas
  • Drive-thru lanes and order points
  • Exterior walls and lower facade
  • Gum and spill contamination
  • Trash receptacle surrounds
  • Grease trap surrounds
  • Curb and bollard areas

How we approach it

Sequencing, access and method

Grease is the whole problem

Restaurant concrete is contaminated with cooking grease, not just dirt. Cold water spreads it. Hot water and a degreasing agent with proper dwell time is the only approach that actually removes it, and it has to be repeated on a schedule.

Health inspection and complaint pressure

Dumpster areas and rear service concrete are the source of most odor and pest complaints. Recurring pad service is the single most valuable exterior item for a restaurant, usually monthly.

Working around service hours

Patios and entries are cleaned before opening or after close. Drive-thru lanes are cleaned during off-peak windows so the lane stays available.

Working with us

From first call to recurring maintenance

  1. 01

    Call and describe the property

Reach us at (404) 313-8900. We ask about property type, approximate square footage, surfaces, access and how the site operates during the day.

  2. 02

    On-site assessment

We walk the property to identify surface types, substrate condition, soiling, water sources, drainage and staging. This is what makes a commercial quote accurate.

  3. 03

    Written scope and schedule

You get a scope that lists exactly which areas are included, the method used on each, the sequence across buildings or levels, and the working window.

  4. 04

    Work performed around operations

Crews work nights, early mornings, weekends or phased by building so parking, entrances, trash service and tenant access stay available.

  5. 05

    Walkthrough and maintenance cycle

We walk the finished work with you and recommend a realistic recurring cycle for the areas that need it, rather than selling the same frequency to every property.

Questions

About restaurants cleaning

How often should a restaurant dumpster pad be cleaned?

Monthly for most restaurants. High-volume kitchens sometimes run a two-week cycle, particularly in summer when odor is worse.

Can you clean the patio without closing it?

Patios are cleaned before opening or after close so the space is available during service hours.
